so i was just looking at my own deviantart

because i am completely self obsessed of course, and i realised that it is all total shitbags. so i'm prolly gonna delete a huge portion of it, because noone really needs to see this shit. maybe i'll just move it all to scraps or something, cos its really just worthless junk.

this isn't a bad thing, its good to realise how shit you are sometimes

and i mean its not surprising that the majority of the crap i have uploaded here is shit, i didn't know what i was doing. i'm no 'artist'. i'm a friggen graphic designer. and contrary to what many designers think, design isn't art. what is art anyway?. ugh thats a conversation for another day.

and wow! its been years since i posted last. seriously like 2 years. last journal entry was freakin the sigur ros one! man that was a good show.

freakin sweet! the imperial march just popped up on my playlist. what luck!

Hello, hello - will wonders never cease! Design may not be art but you have to admit that there are heavy areas of overlap. Plus the latest definition of art is if you are discussing whether something is or isn't art - ipso facto your stuff is now art, even if it wasn't before.

it's always good to look back on how you've progressed over the years. if you believe that art must be useless, then design isn't art. see you in two years.
