Good news!!

hooray for me!
I got a job!
my old college referred a job to me (aparrently my tutor suggested i apply) for a firm thats starting up here in chch, and i got it!
it was down to me and one other person and i got it yayyy
it's pretty lucky really, its the only/first job i applied for, and i would have been pretty rooted if i didn't get it (i am totally poorrrr) so i am pretty stoked as you can imagine!
he said my portfolio and work and everything was stand out and he was glad he hired me because otherwise i would be SNAPPED UP!
how nice/weird it is to hear this about yourself D:!
so i am the only designer. i do all the work, i get all the control. its not highly "creative" work but it's a fucken 9-5 mon-friday deal which i am so insanely happy about. i've been working weekends my entire friggin life and its over nowwww!
i am handing in my notice at my old job today
this weekend i am totally getting sloshed with pals ( such as inchworm ), because another of my friends also got a job! HOORAY!

I graduated school yesterday
i have a Diploma in Communication Art and Design now
hooray!
now i have to get a job
I"m really hoping the business takes off so i don't actually have to get a real job
This is what they say of me:

so i went to see constantine last night
it was really good. which is weird cos i actually don't believe in god or anything. it was probably my favourite of the recent barrage of comic book movies. tilda swinton was fucking marvellous as gabriel. keanu was pretty good by his standards
i really enjoyed it.
i don't like how demons are portrayed though. not just in this movie, but in all movies that have demons in them. they always look so.. stupid.
but y'know, i realise why that is - i mean, has anyone actually ever SEEN one to base it on?
no.
so yeah.
next on the list is Closer (really looking forward to that) and possibly teh aviat0r.
watched Kung foo hustle not long ago - lmfao it is so marvellous, seriously!
also i've watched napoleon dynamite a lot. i've seeen it sooo many times it's getting ridiculous. but it's just so funny and cute and i can't help but say "real quick" like all the time.
can i just see that real quick?

school is crazy busy, huge assignment was handed in on friday, it's now sunday and i have enjoyed two days of doing nothing. NOTHING!!
i do have more assignments due so that is a bit lame, but really nothing i can't handle
i am still as poor as i ever was. i have a few jobs right now, design jobs, which is good, but i really want to get paid now, not when i've finished the work haha
stupid work.
it's fun work though, and one of the clients is super lovely - she's just so wonderful and laid back and rich. it's fabuuu
some people bought some of my prints the other day! i was so surprised and happy it makes me feel squishy to know that people have my work on their wall! wweeeee!

i hope you guys are all having a killer time. i love your sleeves, i caught you a delicious bass, and grandma just called and said you're supposed to go home, she says she doesn't want you here when she gets back because you''ve been ruining everybody's lives and eatin' all our STEAK!! (i heart napoleon)

SO hey
long time no see right?
I've been too busy. I am a bad deviantartmember. It's a sad sad state of affairs.
School has been a bit hectic, but we have 3 weeks holiday over xmas/new years, so thats nice. I am working a lot though, so yeah thats a bit shit. Its nice to be able to relax a bit though
I'm surprised they haven't deleted my account or something haha. I have a few lifedrawings that i'm pretty pleased with so i might submit them. other than that all the non-school-or-freelance work that i've done are my xmas cards this year! haha.. sadd... just too busy
