This is an assignment I have done for school.
I haven't done test prints yet, but until then, this is finished.
Please don't laugh at my crappy use of type

We had a choice of topics to base this on, I chose to use the theme of war, and I thought the first world war was a good one to use. Anything recent just seems to easy/obvious, and it's all so political now and I can't stand that shit. I'd much rather do something historical, and relevant to where I live - New Zealand. We lost a lot of men in that war.

doing this assignment was very depressing. WW1 was a terrible thing, and this sonnet really illustrates the effect it has one everything. It makes for very sad reading.

What passing-bells for these who die as cattle?
- Only the monstruous anger of the guns.

pps: i made this using freehand mx, photoshop cs, the concrete steps in front of my house, stock from imageafter.com and morguefile.com and some old books i have lying around, as well as some old photographs, etc. all textures etc were made by meeee (which was extremely fun by the way)
